Our Shore2Shore guide/representative will meet you at the Port where we board an air-conditioned coach to take a guided tour.

Malmö is Sweden's third largest city by population, after Stockholm and Gothenburg. It is the capital of Skåne County. Malmö is part of the transnational Öresund Region and since the 1st July 2000 the 15.4 km long Öresund Bridge crosses to Copenhagen, Denmark and is open for car traffic and trains.

During the visit of Malmö we will discover different aspects of the city beginning with the lovely little square of Malmö, one of the most popular meeting places or the 1592 Market Square, around which there are interesting buildings of the sixteenth century onwards.

In the center of Malmö there is the picturesque Gamla Väster or "Old West" with its quiet alleys, combining low and colorful houses with others major brick and stone houses.

We will see the Turning Torso of architect Santiago Calatrava, a spectacular building, honored for his commitment to renewable energy, self-supplying with solar and wind energy.

Something not to miss is Kunsgården or King's Park, the oldest public park in Malmö opened in 1872 by King Oscar II, a park with English design and lots of exotic trees. The park has a pavilion from 1912 which is currently the Casino.

We will then return to the Port so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.

We trust you had a wonderful day with us and we shall look forward to seeing you again soon.

Bon Voyage!
