Our guide will meet you at the port with the Shore2shore sign.
During the journey, you will admire this beautiful city and the guide will inform you about Swedish daily life.
The Royal National Urban Park, or "Ekoparken", includes three royal parks: Djurgården, Haga and Ulriksdal. During the walk you will visit one of them: Djurgården (The animal garden). Former hunting ground of the Swedish monarchy, reserved for the king and the court, is now a public park. Djurgården is one of the most visited areas of Stockholm, especially during the summer.
After touring by coach, we will visit Skansen, which recreates the Swedish life of yesteryear. It is also the first outdoor museum in the world, founded in 1891 by a teacher: Hazelius, who wanted future generations to get to know the Swedish culture of the 19th century more closely. This is reflected in the wooden houses transported and assembled in the park, attended by staff with the folk costume of each region. We will see some artisans and we will know some of the Scandinavian fauna such as elk and reindeer, as well as some domestic animals of native breeds. "Skansen" known as Sweden in miniature can be defined as Sweden summarized.
We will also go to the elegant diplomatic quarter of Stockholm where there will be a stop to take pictures.
We will then return to the Port of Cartagena so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.
Important Note: in case of rain, Skansen will be replaced by a visit to the Town Hall.
